About us

What started as a journey to the mountains became a lifelong purpose.

On a visit to Leh, Nishant Pande and his partner Kripali encountered master weavers — creators of some of the finest pashmina they had ever seen. These artisans worked slowly, steadily, and with quiet pride — embodying what would later become the Kule Kule philosophy.

Yet behind the beauty of their craft lay a harsh truth.
While their work was sold for thousands, the artisans themselves earned barely enough to sustain their lives. Middlemen thrived, while the creators lived in poverty.

That moment changed everything.

Kule Kule was born to bridge this gap — to create a system where artisans are commercially independent, respected, and fairly compensated for their mastery.

Our Philosophy

We stand for:

  • Slow fashion, not fast trends

  • Quality over quantity

  • Fair trade over exploitation

  • Timeless design over seasonal noise

Every Kule Kule piece carries the spirit of the artisan who made it — crafted with intention, patience, and pride.

Our Mission

To improve the lives of grassroots artisans through a sustainable and ethical business model, while promoting indigenous Indian art forms and maintaining uncompromising standards of quality.

The Founder

After spending over 20 years in the corporate world, Nishant Pande (IIMC alumnus) chose a path less ordinary.

He now spends months each year in the pashmina regions of Leh, Kullu, and Srinagar — learning directly from artisans, understanding the nuances of the craft, and building systems that make this art form sustainable, accessible, and future-ready.

An ardent follower of meditation and mindful living, Nishant believes true success lies in creating impact — not just profit.

Why Kule Kule

Because luxury should feel honest.
Because craftsmanship deserves respect.
Because stories matter.

When you choose Kule Kule, you’re not just buying pashmina —
you’re becoming part of a slower, more meaningful way of living.
